Dogs are warmly welcome at Ommerland
What makes our campsite unique is that you can bring up to 4 dogs for free on each camping pitch or annual pitch, and in some accommodations (but not on the bed or sofa!). Of course, you’ll want to go for plenty of walks with your dog. As long as your dog is on a leash, you can go anywhere on the campsite. Please note that dogs are not allowed inside the shop, swimming pool, or sanitary building.

Dog Play Area
In the special dog play area, your dog can run and play off-leash with other dogs. It’s a place where dogs can run freely, sniff around, and play together! Elsewhere on the park, dogs must be on a leash, so it’s great for them to have a space to let loose. You’ll find the dog play area in the forest, opposite the recycling/washing area.

Safety in the Dog Play Area
The dog play area is fully enclosed with a fence, so dogs cannot run away. As an owner, you know your dog best and are responsible for your own dog(s). This ensures you always make the right choice for the wellbeing of your dog(s) as well as the other dogs present. The dog play area is not a place for walking or toilet breaks; it’s a place for dogs to romp and play. If there’s an accident, please clean it up, just as you would anywhere else on the park.

Dog Shower
A free service! The dog shower is located at the back of the Ommerbos sanitary building. To use the warm water, you need an Icon key. If you didn’t receive one at check-in, you can obtain one at the reception for a refundable deposit.
Dining Out with Your Dog
Feel free to bring your dog to our restaurant! Dogs are welcome on the terrace and in the bar area. Please keep your dog on a leash and ensure they do not cause any disturbance (as judged by the restaurant staff).
