We are in a wooded area and therefore caution with fire is very important. Stoking campfires and open fires and using fire baskets and garden fireplaces is NOT allowed. A summer day should be accompanied by a cosy barbecue, a gas or electric barbecue is always allowed. The following rules apply to barbecuing with coal:

• Would you like to barbecue on coal? Check the sign at the front of the park to see if code green applies.
• Use a safe barbecue
• Do not place the barbecue on soft ground
• Keep fire extinguishers handy
• Use firelighters, not methylated spirits
• Leave the barbecue to cool for 12 hours after use
• Ask permission from reception first. Barbecuing is not allowed in long droughts.
