Have you always wanted to try archery and play an exciting game at the same time? You can with Archery Tag! Two teams compete against each other and try to eliminate each other with special arrows with soft foam tips. It is a safe, active and super fun combination of dodgeball, archery and strategy. For everyone aged 13 and above. No registration is required. If there are more participants than bows, we will play in several rounds.

Are you all ready at the stops? Bo & Bibi will be coming by to walk behind the cart to the theatre together. The stops are at Ommergras, Ommervallei and Ommerhout!

Join this amazing colour spectacle and complete the obstacle course, where you will be showered with different colours of powder along the way. Wear clothes that can get dirty, sunglasses to protect your eyes, and of course, a white shirt is perfect for this event! Participation is free, no registration required. We will start in groups from the sports field at 7 p.m. You can do multiple laps! White T-shirts, sunglasses and colour powder bags will be on sale this afternoon at the swimming pool square. Today were celebrating the summer carnival at Ommerland! Would you like to join the Bo & Bibi carnival parade this evening? Then bring your bike, go-kart or scooter to the kids club and you can decorate it! (no electric scooters) From the Ommerdorp playground, please walk with your bike to the kids club this is a pedestrian zone. Tonight, well all set off at 6.30 pm from the Ommerdorp playground (near the Brasserie) for the parade.

Join "t Vossenspan" for a covered wagon ride through the beautiful countryside around Ommen. On this one-hour tour, youll discover the area in a relaxed and surprising way. Cost: €6.00 per person. Departure at 11.00 am from the car park by the reception. The second covered wagon ride departs at 12.15 pm. You can book online from 3 days in advance. Places are limited. The stall will be open from 11:00 to 17:00 at the intersection between the dog playground and the paintball arena. Delicious, freshly baked or smoked fish from Rovers Visspecialiteiten!

You will be sailing in a replica of an original Vechtzomp, also known as an Enterse Zomp, such as those that sailed on the Vecht and Regge from around 1700 to around 1930. It is not a loose Zomp, like the other Zompen on the Vecht and Regge, but a so-called fixed-buoy Zomp. It is built entirely of oak. Youll be accompanied by a skipper and guide on board. During the trip (1 hour and 45 minutes), youll learn all about the Vechtzomp, the natural surroundings and the history of the Vecht Valley and the River Vecht. The boat is electrically powered, allowing you to enjoy the surroundings and the stories in complete tranquillity. Please note: the guide speaks Dutch! Adults aged 16 and over €11.50 children aged 7 to 15 €5.00 children under 6 free. Boarding point at the jetty at Camping Koeksebelt (jetty opposite accommodation 216/217). This morning, the children made some lovely creations using their bikes, which theyre now keen to show you during the carnival parade. Together with Bo & Bibi, theyll be doing a lap of the park, starting and finishing at the Ommerdorp Playground, from where Bo & Bibi will wave the children off for the Childrens Carnival in the Chill Out.

Join in on Hunting Season, the active game based on the popular StukTV programme. The game is played twice: once you are the prey and once you are the hunter. The game is all about speed, tactics and lots of running. Closed shoes are mandatory. This is a running activity and therefore only suitable for children who enjoy action and challenges. Can you escape and catch everyone?

The guns are electrically powered and shoot so far and powerfully that you feel you are being hit but just well enough that you do not bruise. A mix of laser game, paintball and airsoft but with water balls. - Participation in this time block only for kids from 8- to 14 years old. - Registration obligatory from 2 days in advance until 2 hours in advance. One registration per child! - Participation is free with one filled hopper. - Run out of balls? For €1 you can get a refill within your time block. Payment cash or pin on the spot. - In case of rain, this activity unfortunately cannot take place/will be stopped immediately due to the electric guns. It is advisable to wear long clothing, such as long trousers and a long-sleeved shirt. The water gel balls that land on your clothes will feel less intense than if they hit bare arms or legs. This can be particularly pleasant for the youngest and most sensitive children. Long clothing provides some extra protection and often makes the activity more comfortable, so that everyone can join in with greater enjoyment.

Today, we're rolling up our sleeves with Grandpa Johan for a fun woodworking workshop! What exactly are we going to make? That's still a surprise, but every time it's something new and special. Participation is completely free, thanks to the generous support of Bouwgroep De Jong from Oosterwolde and, of course, Grandpa Johan, who provides all the materials. Grandpa Johan is an enthusiastic seasonal guest at Ommerland and enjoys organising this activity on a voluntary basis. Because it is an intensive workshop, there is room for a maximum of 25 children. Tonight, lots of famous children's heroes and princesses from Kinderdroomfeest are coming to Ommerland! With all the decorated floats, the mega parade will drive around the park, passing the Bo & Bibi stops at Ommergras, Ommervallei and Ommerhout, ending at the playground near the Brasserie. After the parade, there will be a short break during which photos can be taken with a number of children's heroes near the Ommerdorp playground (expected between 7.30 p.m. and 8 p.m.).

Mandy is organizing another fun active class for you and your dog. For this activity your dog has to be at least 6 months old. You register per dog. 1 dog = 1 boss. Other family members can of course come and watch, but it is not necessary to register for them. Registration opens a week in advance and full = full. If it is full you are welcome to come to the field to watch. If someone drops out, there is a possibility that you can still participate. A few tips: - Take a fixed line with you. (not a flex line) - Make sure the dog wears a fixed collar (no harness or slip chain) - Bring dog biscuits.

Are you ready for an evening full of surprises? The Tablet of Terror will be with us tonight And every time it goes off, the big question is: will it bring something good or something bad? Expect hilarious challenges, unexpected twists and, of course, an evening of partying!

Are you between 6 and 14 years old and good at building huts? Then the Hut Building Festival on August 5th and 6th is perfect for you! You need to wear good shoes for nails and tools and old clothes and shoes that can get dirty because of the paint (no guarantee it will wash out), a cap for the sun can also be very handy. You can hire a hammer or saw from us for €1.00 and gloves can be bought for €1.00 per pair (supplies are limited, so if you have your own saw, hammer or gloves please bring them along). Power tools are not allowed. There are two options for registration: Free - No Lunch €5.00 - Two days Lunch (1 day with a hot dog and 1 day with chips) You can choose this when registering. If you do not register for lunch, you must leave the grounds between 12.30 pm and 1.00pm. No construction will take place then. Registration is possible from 2 weeks in advance until 1 hour in advance. You can register as a team or individually. If you want to register as a team, please have one person register all participants of the group. Please also indicate whether there are any special requirements, such as allergies, etc. Please note! Based on the BTA method and led by Hondencentrum WRAF, you will learn how to teach your dog to walk neatly on the leash in a positive way. You register per dog. 1 dog = 1 master. In case of less than 5 registrations, the workshop will unfortunately not take place. Other family members can of course come and watch, registration for them is not necessary. Tonight we are organising a cool drop-off! Would you like to join? Then read the following VERY CAREFULLY! - Each group MUST have at least one supervisor aged 18 or over! - From the moment of departure until your return to the park, you must wear a reflective safety vest. No vest = no participation!! Safety first! Don't have enough vests? Email animatie@ommerland.nl to let us know how many vests you need (after confirmation by email, you will receive them at the start of the drop-off location). You must return your vest to the Chill Out upon your return. - As a group, you must arrange for a driver(s) to drop you off. Cars may NOT be left at the drop-off location. - Do not walk along the railway tracks or on private property and be mindful of noise levels/quiet areas. - It is prohibited to walk along provincial roads and motorways. - Do not walk in the middle of roads; walk along the road/verge as much as possible and keep a close eye on safety. - You may bring your mobile phone, and a torch is also very useful also for visibility to road users. If you want to make it a simple walk, you can turn on the GPS on your phone, but then the whole idea of the drop-off is lost, of course. - You must provide your own food and drink for the journey. Alcohol and narcotics are not permitted. If we suspect that you have been drinking alcohol or find it in your bag, we will exclude you from participation. - We will only pick people up in emergencies. You will be dropped off 6-8 kilometres away. In the fastest case, you will be back within 1.5 hours, but if you have a poor sense of direction, it will take a little longer. ;) - Participation is entirely at your own risk. Want to participate as a group? Have one person register everyone at the same time. At 8:45 p.m., we will gather in our cars at the reception area. The first car will be just in front of the exit barrier. Please line up behind each other and keep as far to the right as possible so that we can let other park guests pass before we leave. We will drive in convoy to the drop-off location. At the drop-off location, we'll check who's there and go over any last important stuff. Small groups or individual participants can join up (if they want). Minors always need to bring an adult guardian or let Nic know by noon if they can join an existing group.
