Are you between 6 and 14 years old and good at building huts? Then the Hut Building Festival on August 5th and 6th is perfect for you! You need to wear good shoes for nails and tools and old clothes and shoes that can get dirty because of the paint (no guarantee it will wash out), a cap for the sun can also be very handy. You can hire a hammer or saw from us for €1.00 and gloves can be bought for €1.00 per pair (supplies are limited, so if you have your own saw, hammer or gloves please bring them along). Power tools are not allowed. There are two options for registration: Free - No Lunch €5.00 - Two days Lunch (1 day with a hot dog and 1 day with chips) You can choose this when registering. If you do not register for lunch, you must leave the grounds between 12.30 pm and 1.00pm. No construction will take place then. Registration is possible from 2 weeks in advance until 1 hour in advance. You can register as a team or individually. If you want to register as a team, please have one person register all participants of the group. Please also indicate whether there are any special requirements, such as allergies, etc. Please note! Would you like to help as a supervisor/volunteer? There is a separate registration for this (3rd item).

The Chill Out is the place to be to hang out with your holiday mates. Chill out, dance, play games or go head-to-head in pool (12+), table tennis, table football, darts (12+) and air hockey. Fancy going online? Free Wi-Fi is always available. Fancy something extra for a small fee? Pop a coin into the slot machines or show off your punching power on the punching bag. Open every afternoon from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm (8+) and every evening from 7.00 pm to 10.00 pm (13+). Club Night runs from 10.00 pm to 1.00 am (15+, ID required).

Today, we have something exciting planned! Patrick from Schilderij op Smaak will be visiting to give a spectacular graffiti workshop. During this creative workshop, you will discover how to work with different layers of paint and how a graffiti artwork is built up step by step. You will get to work on your own canvas and, of course, you can proudly take your artwork home with you afterwards! Practical information: - Participation from 6 years old - Registration required (full = full) - Own contribution: €15.00 per person Workshop rounds: - 10:00 11:30 a.m. / 12:30 2:00 p.m. / 2:30 4:00 p.m. The third session will be opened at the 2.30 p.m. registration time if sessions 1 and 2 are full. Today, we're rolling up our sleeves with Grandpa Johan for a fun woodworking workshop! What exactly are we going to make? That's still a surprise, but every time it's something new and special. Participation is completely free, thanks to the generous support of Bouwgroep De Jong from Oosterwolde and, of course, Grandpa Johan, who provides all the materials. Grandpa Johan is an enthusiastic seasonal guest at Ommerland and enjoys organising this activity on a voluntary basis. Because it is an intensive workshop, there is room for a maximum of 25 children. The stall will be open from 11:00 to 17:00 at the intersection between the dog playground and the paintball arena. Delicious, freshly baked or smoked fish from Rovers Visspecialiteiten!

Join "t Vossenspan" for a covered wagon ride through the beautiful countryside around Ommen. On this one-hour tour, youll discover the area in a relaxed and surprising way. Cost: €6.00 per person. Departure at 11.00 am from the car park by the reception. The second covered wagon ride departs at 12.15 pm. You can book online from 3 days in advance. Places are limited. If you are unable to pay online, please register at reception. Unpaid registrations will be automatically deleted.

Join in on Hunting Season, the active game based on the popular StukTV programme. The game is played twice: once you are the prey and once you are the hunter. The game is all about speed, tactics and lots of running. Closed shoes are mandatory. This is a running activity and therefore only suitable for children who enjoy action and challenges. Can you escape and catch everyone?

Tonight its time to switch roles! Boys as girls, girls as boys, or go for an outfit thats entirely your own style. Anything goes, as long as youre up for a fun evening! Show off your creativity, have a good laugh with your friends, and make it an unforgettable night out together!

Today we are going to completely finish and decorate the huts. For this, we will have cardboard, tarpaulin and fabrics ready for you. Does anyone have any fabric, cardboard or tarpaulin lying around? Please come and bring it to us, the children will love it! There will also be painting today so put on old clothes and shoes (no guarantee that the paint is washable). Today the judges will come by to admire all the huts. Do you have your hut in a particular colour or theme? Then it might be fun to come dressed like that too! From 15.00, parents, siblings and the curious are welcome to come and admire the huts and at 15.30 is the presentation and closing ceremony.

An interactive and educational experience! Admission is free. The route to the meadow is signposted from the playground at Brasserie Ommerland (a 5-minute walk from the playground). During this lecture, Mandy explains what your dog is trying to say through his body language. Do you want to understand what your dog is telling you? Do you want to know if you are interpreting your dog's behaviour correctly? Then come to the lecture Body Language. Practical situations will be discussed in detail, including how to deal with dogs running loose while you have your dog on a leash. In short: a fun and interesting lecture for everyone who wants to know more about his or her dog's body language! Registration opens a week in advance and VOL=FULL. No dogs are allowed during the lecture, because this lecture is really for the boss!

During this fun class, you will work on obedience and different tricks to do together with the dog. You sign up per dog. 1 dog = 1 boss. Other family members can of course come and watch, registration for them is not necessary. Registration opens a week in advance and Vol=Full. If it is full you are welcome to come to the field to watch. Should someone drop out, there is a possibility that you can still join. A few tips: - Take a fixed line with you. (not a flex line) - Bring dog biscuits.

Tonight is the night for an evening full of music, fun and surprising performances! Our participants have been practising hard and are eager to take to the stage during the Playback Show. Be surprised by amazing acts, funny performances and maybe even a few budding superstars. From young to old: everyone has done their best to make it a spectacular show! Come and watch, cheer on the participants and enjoy an evening full of entertainment. Because a full house makes the show even more fun, of course!

This unique party is a modern twist on the traditional Mexican celebration of Día de Muertos. Put on your most colourful outfit and decorate yourself with brilliant face paint to celebrate the night in style!
