Dogs welcome

Dogs are very welcome at Ommerland. The unique thing about our campsite is that you can bring up to 4 dogs for free on every camping pitch and annual pitch and also in some accommodation (but not on the bed or sofa!). Of course, you'll want to take your dog for lots of walks, and if you keep him on a lead, you can go anywhere on the campsite. Dogs are not allowed inside the shop, swimming pool and sanitary building.

Dog play area
In the special dog play area (next to the catering facilities), your dog can play and run freely with other dogs on a leash. A place where dogs can run, sniff and play with each other! Dogs are kept on a leash in the rest of the park, so it's great if they can run free. You will find the dog play area next to our catering facilities.

Safety on the dog play area
The dog play area is completely fenced off with a fence so the dogs cannot run away. As the owner, you know your dog best and you are responsible and accountable for your own dog(s). Because of this, you will always make the right choice for the well-being of your dog(s), but also of the dogs that are also there at the time. The dog play area is not a dog-walking area, but a place where dogs can romp. Should an accident happen, you will of course clean up after it, just like in the rest of the park.

Walking in the woods
Please note that your dog must be leashed everywhere in the forest.

Dog shower
A free service! You will find the dog shower at the back of the sanitary building Ommerbos. To use the hot water you need an Icon key. Didn't you receive this on arrival? Then you can get one at reception on payment of a deposit.

Eating out
Feel free to bring your dog to our restaurant, your dog is welcome on the terrace and in the bar area. Please keep it on a leash and make sure your dog does not cause any nuisance (at the discretion of the catering staff).

Dog training
Ommerland has its own Dog Centre where you can go for all kinds of fun activities, courses and training. For all possibilities, visit www.hondencentrumwraf.nl or call Mandy van Gelder on 06-253 97 590.
